My Story

ABOUT ME!

A native of the California Bay Area, I love the mountains, blue skies, and overpriced coconut water. I began my journey as a performer with a vibrant and certainly age appropriate rendition of CeeLo Green’s “Forget You” at nine years old. At that time I also began to play piano in an attempt to follow in Lady Gaga’s footsteps, and got into competitive dance soon after.

Although I made a full transition into an aspiring actor in high school after discovering Sweet Charity, and Beautiful: The Carole King Musical, I never left behind my love and interest for popular music, as I continue to carefully analyze Ben Folds’ entire discography and continue to nurture my love for writing music.

At Syracuse, I found a distinct passion for developing new works, especially those that center untold stories that often don't get a chance to be shared on commercial stages. I also had the opportunity to write a 15 minute solo show, develop my own choreography, and create my Renée Crown Honors Thesis on health and wellness for performing artists called "Performing with Pain" to suggest better practices for both educational institutions and the industry at large.

In my free time, I love to read, write, call my parents, and fill out my planner in elaborate detail with multi-colored pens!
